The Vice President Clinical Services will oversee the strategic vision for clinical services to include Inpatient and Outpatient services lines and special programs for it's specific region.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Partners with Regional Vice President, Operations to ensure therapy routines and administrative workflows are efficient and allow for optimal staff resources to meet performance standards.
  2. Utilizes financial and outcomes data to drive programmatic decisions and manage staff performance.
  3. Collaborates with nursing leadership to ensure successful integration between medical and clinical/administrative issues.
  4. Develops comprehensive training for Clinical and Intensive Outpatient Program Directors to ensure standardization of therapeutic practices and outcomes.
  5. Creates and executes strategic short-term and long-term recruitment and retention plans for licensed therapy staff.  Develops evaluation tools to measure outcomes related to Therapist performance.
  6. Works closely with Market Development team to develop and cultivate community partnerships that further the Oceans Healthcare mission, vision, and values, and drive strategic growth.
  7. Plans and implements continuum of care improvements in selected markets.
  8. Collaborates in service planning and implementation process for de novo and acquisition projects.
  9. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. 

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field
  • LISW/LCSW or LPC Preferred
  • At least 5 years of clinical leadership experience required in behavioral health setting.
  • Must have multi-site experience; must have Corporate/Regional level leadership experience
  • Inpatient and outpatient experience preferred

 

Skills / Abilities:

  • Strong leadership, people management, influencing and motivating skills and the ability to manage complexity where both strategic and tactical skills are required.
  • Position requires proven organizational skills, prioritization judgment, proven time management, established team-building experience, and an analytical mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of behavioral health therapy modalities in inpatient and outpatient settings

 

Work Environment:

Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
