The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for driving the strategic direction, execution, and optimization of the company's talent acquisition function relative to field recruitment operations. This role will serve as a strategic leader beyond core Talent Acquisition responsibilities, collaborating across functions to provide the TA perspective. This role will own key projects such as Applicant Tracking System, reporting, and driving field level results. This leader will oversee full-cycle recruitment efforts, build and manage a high-performing TA team, and partner closely with Vice President, Talent Acquisition to ensure hiring strategies align with business goals. The role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, particularly in scaling processes, enhancing employer brand, and driving a world-class candidate experience.

 

Essential Functions:

  1. Develops and executes a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce planning relative to field recruitment.
  2. Establish KPIs and talent metrics to track performance, forecast talent needs, and inform data-driven decisions.
  3. Advise executive leadership on market trends, competitive intelligence, and talent acquisition innovations.
  4. Lead and mentor a robust field recruitment team; establish guidelines to hire new recruiters who align with culture, counsel and manage those who may not be performing at standards, and develop training plans to orient and onboard new recruitment team members
  5. Foster a high-performance culture, focusing on continuous improvement and professional development.
  6. Build scalable recruiting operations, tools, and workflows that enhance efficiency and candidate experience as the Company grows.
  7. Optimize the use of ATS, job boards, and recruitment tools to improve ROI and reduce time-to-fill; Implement best practices for data integrity, workflow automation, and reporting.
  8. Provide data-driven insights and regular recruitment performance reports to Vice President, Talent Acquisition.
  9. Own and continuously improve recruiting processes such as sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding partnerships.
  10. Champion a compelling employer value proposition and partner with marketing to amplify the employer brand across platforms.
  11. Ensure compliance with all employment-related laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  12. Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience preferred. 
  • Five plus  years of experience leading recruiters; tracking performance
  • Eight plus years of recruitment experience; healthcare experience preferred

Skills / Abilities:

  • Proven success delivering recruiting results in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth environment. 
  • Strong customer management skills with ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers.  Knowing how to work with difficult managers and how to politically navigate the organization’s landscape 
  • Team-oriented with ability to partner with and build upon the strengths of others to meet overall goals. 
  • Heavy experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.  Ability to put together presentations within Excel and Power Point with ease.   Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Heavy reporting experience; able to build out pivot tables in Excel

Work Environment:

Subject to many interruptions. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. This position can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Work requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
